First we released a game patch addressing some issues in the game, among other thing one source of the problem with the fps drop introduced in the last game update that was noticeable under certain circumstances.
Here are the changes...
- Improved animal vision performance (the fps drops (however, not related to spooking animals, that is another issue)).
- Further improvements to animals visual detection that does consider if the player rotates (without movement) or changes stance. Animals vision does now simulate that movements/rotations may be seen with peripheral vision while if the player is standing still the field of view for spotting the player is narrower.
- Now not possible to enter inventory from trophy shot mode.
- Fixed so hogs roam and not trot interests.
- Fixed so dead turkeys and pheasants cannot call.
We are working hard on bringing you the next big game update with both new species and a new environment, and besides that, we're in the middle of moving everything to a new data centre. We will do an in-depth data centre Status Update in the future, hopefully with some pictures of the servers as well, huming along in harmony while you are playing on them.
