I agree. Please update the look of the turkeys sometime (no hurry) Your picture on the homepage says it all:killertut wrote:the decoys look great, god job.
could you update the turkeys so they look as nice as those decoys?
Note the clear differences. The decoys look proper, and the real ones don't.

Re: Status Update July 23rd 2014
after some minutes playing i noticed that that the old turkey box caller behaves (after the update) both like a caller and a turkey locator. I mean every time i call at the same turkey , the bird always calls back.
Anyone else noticed the same or am i loosing my mind?

I think it has been that way. The turkey is just calling on its normal cycle of when it would call even if there's no attractant.arxiepiskopos wrote:after some minutes playing i noticed that that the old turkey box caller behaves (after the update) both like a caller and a turkey locator. On a side note
What is the minimum distance between sets for these decoys?
Glad we have them now

The box caller never worked as locator caller. If turkeys call right back when using the box caller, there is a bug (and no need for the locator caller)...

Re: Status Update July 23rd 2014
They always called back since i started to hunt them a bit more than one month ago using the old box
Now you tell me that this is not normal ? And so i will probably need to buy a new caller to continue hunt them ?
Pretty sure i saw old videos of turkey hunting showing the same behavior when searching for tips about this specie, doesn't seems like something new to me
Edit : they call back but sometimes it's not an immediate answer so maybe just them normal " vocalizes " ...

The old box caller has always worked like a locator for me too. Many times I would let out a call with the box and a tom or a hen would call back. Although, I do like the new locator call from what I've seen and heard. It looks like it'll be nice to have along with the box caller so when you want to find the turkeys you can, but they won't immediately be attracted to that position.

I would think these updates to turkey hunting might have something to do with that. Anybody else have any clues?Seiska wrote:Super excited for the new species and now new reserve! The turkey decoys/call locator look great, can't wait to see them in action.

I figured they just added the new turkey decoys because they had been requested by the community.
