I agree, some really nice rares - congrats everyone!stancomputerhunter wrote:Some terrific posts recently. That Melanistic Turkey is the first I've ever seen! Wow!
Though I must admit - even if I'd seen a melanistic turkey, I'm not sure I would've noticed it. Looks pretty normal to me. And the wiki doesn't even list them.

Congrats Mat, I think this is one of the extremely rare birds! Not a bad score either, for a gadwall.

Wow, seems the wikia needs an update: http://thehunter.wikia.com/wiki/Animal_ ... ons#Turkey
But I can clearly see that the tail feathers are much darker then the commons - an extraordinary find!
Do you have a link to the hunt, so we can see the icon for this rare? I'm sure Hoo will put in on the wikia
edit: never mind I found it: https://www.thehunter.com/#profile/gran ... n/79754512
But the icon is oddly enough broken.

Wow, awesome rares.
Congratulations to all.
I mostly comment in trophy animals thread, but I track this one, and non-typicals too. Really nice findings.

Holy bird, that is some hunt! Lucky you. I was blasting them a lot these days but no rares appeared.TreeKiwi wrote:Male Gadwall Mallard Hybrid... how's that for a mouthful?
