Multiplayer choice of who can join.
This week the rotation species is ducks.
I wanted to set up a duck hunt just for guests.
A nice gesture to visitors.
But the choice in the player filter when setting up my multi-game is: "All" or "Members only".
There is no option for "Guests only".
Please add "GUESTS ONLY" option for "Who-Can-Join" in the multiplayer games set up.

I can't recall anyone asking for that before, but I could be wrong. I guess the description field might have the desired effect, but that of course would require people to read it, which doesn't always happen.

You can set the upper hunterscore to something like 300 so only lower score hunters can join. Not the same thing as guests only but maybe close.

Since they are filters I would imagine you can only add restrictions, and if you restrict members that would include you since you need to be a members to host.
Now the host may not be included in the restriction, but not sure.
I guess a test would be to set the min hunter score to something larger than your own and see if it actually works.

The above statements are strictly my opinion, and should not be taken as fact, even if I believe them to be true.

Hosts are not included in the restrictions. I've hosted games before with maximum hunter scores below whatever my current hunter score was.DHRifleman wrote:Since they are filters I would imagine you can only add restrictions, and if you restrict members that would include you since you need to be a members to host.

Re: Multiplayer choice of who can join.
I am hosting my multi duck hunts by setting entry level from zero to 100.
My suggestion still stands.
It would not be a hard change to implement.
The new players in their grey T shirts appreciate the effort, & I get thanked.
Please consider.

Then it should be easy to set it to guests only as suggestedcaledonianblues wrote:Hosts are not included in the restrictions. If the option was made available DHR.
That is what this thread is suggesting, a guest only option.

I was ageing with the suggestion, since the host is not included in the filtering it should be as easy as it was to add the option to make it members only.

It would not be a hard thing to add.
