Wind direction

Post by Ringalor »

Hello, at the same time and in the same place, can the wind change direction?
I mean, if I make a new session and I come back, same time, same place, the wind will always be the same or it can change?
Thank you dear hunters! (I did not find an answer in the forum, but it's probably hidden somewhere ... :?:   )

Hi.
Of course, the wind can change direction in the same time and same place!
If you start at 8 am in WHI and the wind might blow from south to north! And if you start another season at the same time and in WHI, maybe the wind blows from SW to NE.
I have seen this a lot and it changes always.

Your welcome, Ringalor. ;)
You can easily see where the wind is blowing by leafs falling direction, sands blowing direction(In BRR) and snow blowing on the ground in WRR.
Also if the weather is rainy/snowy, you can see what direction the rain/snow is falling.
Or you can spend some gm$ and buy a wind indicator! :P

This is not correct. It was brought up over a year ago and it was stated that it does not automatically is the same as wind direction. As far as I know, it has never been adjusted.

Edit: I forgot to take out WRR. My point was BRR only. I do not know about WRR:

I'm not 100% sure, but I thought that it had been corrected at some point. :?

So, you said sand and snow blowing direction is not the same as wind direction?
If I recall correctly, I see sands blowing in the same direction(NE, N) as wind in BRR.
Anyway, I'll try it later.

Patch 2015111801 - Dust and snow now use the wind when calculating direction.
It's "Tod", with one bloody 'd'!

a good way of seeing this in action is get some tracer arrows and fire them but it will cost ya.its quite surprising how strong this can blow.
