Re: Bear Baiting at Redfeather Falls
If bears walk into the attractive range they should go to the barrel probably only be 1 or 2 if you are lucky.

Luck isn`t on anyone`s side. It is a inanimate entity that some people choose to believe, blame, and accredit success or failure. Nah, I am just kidding

Re: Bear Baiting at Redfeather Falls
Waiting at a 100% bear barrel works great. Bears don't run as far as pigs do. So they often come back to the barrel because they never left the attracktion radius. (With boars I find this less efficient because they run further away and often leave attracktion radius. I usually wait for a while for different herdes to come to the feeder and then simply go after them.)
A bow or crossbow makes this tactic more efficient, because it will only scare animals in a small radius.
Say you are at a bear barrel and shoot at a bear with a rifle, another bear 100m away and approaching will spook and probably leave attracktion radius. If you use a bow it will continue to come closer.

I guess I have mine in the right location. 100% attractiveness, and spooked bears usually come back within 5 minutes.
