G'day from Australia
Hi everyone.
I've only been playing HC for a couple of months. Can't wait to upgrade to a 12 month membership when my 3 month one runs out. I REALLY want to build one of those towers LOL. I've had some really funny moments while playing. Some intense and scary Bear moments. The 2 I remember the most was when I was tracking a Black Bear. It was extremely close. I went prone. Damn, I almost became dirt itself. I sat there at the computer not daring to breath LOL. The bear charged me and at the last moment he skidded on the ground and stopped right in front of my face. I nearly fell off my chair. Then the bear just took off. It was scary and exciting at the same time. The second bear incident I remember was recently when I was after a Grizzly, it was again, really close. It charged and in my desperation to not be killed, I ran and got behind a cluster of a big tree and a couple of small trees. I had no idea which way the bear was coming from. I nearly had to change my undies. The noise was deafening and I hugged that tree like a human sized Nedbella shaped piece of bark. LOL. I didn't get me, so I must have placed myself well and in time for it not to get me. Another exciting near miss. DAMN I LOVE THIS GAME.

Gday mate. Glad to see you are enjoying one of the main features of the game I like. Many aspects of the game leave you wondering what happened to your heart beat.
There's that, that you described quite well. Or the moment when you see a non-typical or rare animal. I reckon you will shake even more when you see one of these haha.
Welcome to the best game I have ever stuck around for and still play regularly Loved your intro btw.
Fellow Aussie in case you couldn't tell, haha. I also love the big moments in-game, always happy to share and see other people do the same

Welcome to the group!
No need to wait! I did the very same thing. Inside of an hour of installing theHunter I bought the 3mo membership to test the waters for a bit. After 2 weeks I knew I was hooked & bought the 12 month. The time just gets tacked on to the end of your 3mo membership so no need to wait, get those towers now!Nedbella wrote:Hi everyone.

Howdy Nedbella! Yeah, this really is a great game. I love the excitement in the anticipation this game brings like when you call to an animal and you're waiting to see what trophy animal is going to emerge from behind the trees or tracking an animal when you clear that hilltop and spot the animal you've been tracking
