Re: Australian Rainforest
I won't ever talk anyone out of buying any equipment because it's all a matter of "tastes"....but, that is the one weapon that I could do without. It does what it's supposed to do & maybe I haven't given it a fair shake because I don't hunnt a lot of those smaller animals, but I rarely take it on any hunts.HunterVK wrote: Well, it looks like it's finally time to buy .22 air rifle

Re: Australian Rainforest
Hoping it is the sub-tropical rainforests down south, like the ones in the photos, much better hunting habitat then the Tropical rainforests far north like Daintree since there isn't the wide variety of huntable species.

Yeah man, Primal gave me the creeps! The only game I've ever played where you know you're going to die at some pointstrandjutter wrote:I'm getting a flashback to "the hunter Primal" and I'm not sure if I like it.Radamus wrote:Here's a link to some photos from a guy who lives in Aussieland~

Some of that terrain is pretty thick. I'm already afraid of Rougarou in the dark and Settlers crawling through the brush - I can't imagine what a Rainforest might look like. If it's really thick I hope there's no dangerous animals .... but I have a feeling the only "safe" reserve will remain Whitehart.
Hope everyone clicked on the 2nd page for more photos, that is in reality some extremely wild and mountainous, rocky terrain where ibex or rams could live. There's a couple guys who post quite a few pics from Aussie and places where they go up into these mountains and pan for gold which is why he had a pic with the pan, he finds it! That's the kind of walkabout that pays! Pretty awesome to have those kind of opportunities.
