Had a decent night on the ice. After that crazy warm weather that we had, I wasn't sure how good the ice would be, but it was fine. Even had some fresh snow. As you can tell from my red nose, it was very cold. I wouldn't be surprised if the windchill was in the negatives. This walleye was the biggest of the night, just over 28" and a bit over 7 1/2 pounds. I think that the best part of this picture is my brother fighting another one in the background.

It’s a speckled trout, common in FL and is a saltwater species. It’s also not a true trout species, such Rainbows, Browns, etc. Specks have more in common with Redfish (Red Drum) and Black Drum than they do true trout species
