Interesting. Honestly looks to be more of a ship simulator then fishing. Then again I guess commercial fishing is more about the ship then the fishing.

yea, vidoes on YT are very interesting. This game contains a lot of mini games, so VdB lovers will like it :D
release date is 7th Feb., on Steam, for 19.99 Eur.
I wonder what will be the last ship, all YT videos show 5 ships, but steam and their official page speak about 6 :)

I imagine I’ll get this just for the old wooden boat they give you to start with. Has a lot of character.

These kind of sims are always ultimately vehicle/gear sims. Farming Simulator is a good example. TheHunter is a bit unique because it simulates the environment so well, and just being in the environment is a big part of the point for some. But even it is kind of a gear simulator, like the others, where you repeat the same activity with different gear, and, in our case, a wider range of objects (there’s only so many fish and crops that make sense to model).
