I tried using a trackball mouse a few years back, it was ok ... but remember going back to the mouse because I felt I had more control with a normal mouse, and that I was more used to using a normal mouse ... but give it a try for yourself , they're not that expensive .

I have experience with trackballs and in my opinion they're not well suited for this game, especially when you're trying to shoot animals that run away. I also think that duck/goose/pheasant shooting is going to be quite hard with a trackball. Just my 2 cents.n9mfk9 wrote:what are your thoughts

I've been using a trackball for years, specifically a Logitech T-RB22 Trackman. They are no longer made but they can be picked up fairly cheap on a well known auction site
If you have an Amazon account you could buy a trackball and try it out and if you do not like it send it back.
