The best GTX 1080?
Now that the price has dropped because of the GTX 1080ti's release, I'm looking to get one.
Question is, which of all the aftermarket cards is the best?
In terms of cooling, overclocking, looks and noise.

Asus GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Strix or Gigabyte Aorus GeForce GTX 1080 Ti.
I tend to the Aorus because it's slightly cheaper. The Asus is a little bit quieter. Otherwise, both cards are quite similar...

I meant GTX 1080, I only reffered the 1080ti because it dropped the price of the 1080.

Re: The best GTX 1080?
When I was reading up on the GTX 1080 some time ago the Zotac AMP Extreme was the best air cooled version with a good out-of-the-box overclock and good noise levels. The fans also don't kick in below 60°C from what I understand. It's a 3 slot card though and is very long and heavy so worth checking your case first.
Otherwise I would recommend EVGA. I have 2 of the EVGA FTW Hydro Copper versions of the 1080 in my machine at the moment. Great cards.
Let us know which version you go for.

Evga FTW.
Got two of them with EK-watercoolers and they simple work like a champ.

I'm thinking between the STRIX and the FTW, I would like to overclock them just a bit maybe reach 2000mhz.
Case is the NZXT S340 so I don't think I could fit a watercooled 1080 in there.
Thanks for the Replies, I'll still be researching and making my mind .

Re: The best GTX 1080?
Looks like a decent build, but 650W PSU should be "on the edge" on heavy loads. I would go for EVGA SuperNOVA G2 750W 80+ Gold, it's only 12 US$ more (less than 1% from full system price).
