Napoleon, European donkey, thought the world was at his feet, but forgot that the world was against him.

List of wars The English lost....
The 1st Boer War

Greetings from an Irishman in Germany to all the jingos....
irish war or Independence finished with a treaty and a civil war in Ireland won by the irish free state provisional government backed by the British and was on and off with no real changes until the late 80s
we won ww1 as the central powers lost to the allied of which we were 1 of them
we won ww2 as we were part of the allied forces that defeated the axis
Rhodesian bush war (zimbabwe war of independance) ended in a stalemate and the elections were held under supervision by the British when the country gained Independence and was recognised
south africa voted out of being a dominion of the uk in 1961 and it was a peaceful affair (for the most part, south africa has had many troubles internally)
Canada and Australia govern themselves but are still very much part of the commonwealth and Elizabeth II is still the monarch and on the currency of both nations.
as for brexit time will tell, i personally wanted out and still do.
