Re: Handguns | .45 Long Colt Revolver
I own all weapons, but this is worst of all. It's total unethical for the permitted animals. It should permitted only for deer and not for the big.
I wished I could give it back.

Re: Handguns | .45 Long Colt Revolver
This is a dud-weak, sound could use a make over and would be nice if I only fired a shot it didn't dump 4 rounds on the ground. Probably too complex to design I agree.
No "Thump" to the sound, reminds me of a 38 special "chic" gun. Kind of surprised by the finish, the team can do better but I may not be "getting it" on the theme of the design. How did Reindeer end up on the list???
Rated:Dust collector

Nice rating, that should totally be an option to choose from!Radamus wrote:Rated:Dust collector
I'm not going to rate this item because I don't own the handgun yet, I'll wait till the premium version comes out and just buy that I won't bother with the normal version.
I kinda feel bad for people that are going to buy the two versions of the handgun just for Hunterscore, I hate leveling up handguns.
I have over 1337 kills with my Longbow at 100% kill rate.

Re: Handguns | .45 Long Colt Revolver
Rated very poor. Might be good for coyotes and the smaller deer, but for the species it is permitted for it is completely under performing. Likely the weakest weapon in the game for its intended prey, I can only guess there was a major mistake made at the release.
I shoot polar and grizzly bears from very close 2-3 times, how ever many times I can hit them. For elk and reindeer I try to be closer than 10m and most still run. Moose and brown bear, are you kidding?

Re: Handguns | .45 Long Colt Revolver
I own the .45 Long Colt Revolver now and I can confirm that It's possible to get a vital hit on a Reindeer 51m out. (done so myself)
However other species you have to take under 20m or so, so you get penetration. Sometimes you still get body hits even at 10m but I've discovered with this Revolver 1 body hit alone does kill most targets.
VERY strong bleeding power.

75% don't own or rated very poor, a damning indictment of the weapon, just another cash grab.

Would prefer the animation was of loading five into a six shooter, minus the swing out cylinder. That's just wrong.

Would not buy. Saw the loading animation and puked a little in my mouth. An accurate loading animation would go a long way for this gun.

Poor animation, no knock-down power for big stuff and not available for small stuff. Average

No real place for it in the inventory. A "dust collector" as mentioned above.
