Re: Rifle Sights | 12x50mm Rifle Scope
Excellent scope for using the spotting skill. It's the main reason I often bring it along.
The high magnification and the fine centre crosshairs help to aim precisely, especially over long distances. The fact that the magnification is not variable however hampers a little the ability to maintain an overview over the situation, which is especially vital when wanting to take down multiple animals. It is way trickier with this scope to pick out the next target.
In addition, the more than ugly and falsely as "Mil-Dot" (it is not!) labelled reticle dampens the overall euphoria so that my final vote is "good".
I actually don't think that any of the rifle scopes deserves an "Excellent"

I am not a fan of this scope at all. I agree it's good for spotting and thats about it i hate the useless Mil-Dots that just clutter up the view. Had they not added them it would of been a better scope and got a better rating from me.

Excellent. For spotting and long range shooting It even doesn't bother me that there is no zoom in - out option

Rated: Poor
This scope needs a variable zoom (6/12 or 6/9/12)...a fixed 12x scope is just stupid . Bottom line is, this scope should have NEVER been made this way.

Re: Rifle Sights | 12x50mm Rifle Scope
I use it all the time mostly with the 7mm Raptor bullpup.
It's great for spotting, nothing else in game comes close, especially the range finding binos and the original range finder/spotting scope. They both fail miserably for spotting at range.
However, the 12x50mm scope would be much better as a variable as pointed out by others.
And I agree, the reticle sucks. It's just too cluttered, and unnecessarily so. Not a good choice but it wouldn't be a hard fix. Maybe it will happen if the devs see enough interest.
I rate it Good mostly due to the reticle more than being a fixed power. With a better reticle I would rate it Excellent even without being variable. With variable? They would have to add "Outstanding" to the rating list.
