Mil-Dot much easier aiming for .22 "Plinkington" at a distance less than 100 meters and more than 100 meters. Super long shots from rifles  of other calibers also require amendments. With Mil-Dot is to make it easier

Scope is great, but ability of the game of rendering animals only to 230m makes long ranges shooting is impossible! Thr scope has a few sence!

Would agree with the reticle in this being a little too cluttered IMO I've mistaken one of the other horizontal crossbars for the center before and missed a shot.

7 mm break action rifle and 12x50 mm scope is my everyday combo, for last 6 months or so. Never had a problem to aim and shoot anywhere, from 60 to 250 meters. I rated the scope "excellent".

You are 100% right!
I voted Good few month ago. But I bought 7mm break action rifle stambecco and I use 12x50 mm scope on this weapon.
I think I have to change my mind! This scope is so cool. Especially if you equip it on a good weapon! :)

Rated "Good"

- fixed power is fine, many quality European scopes are fixed power (lowers the cost weight and so on) and the scope has to have some drawbacks I suppose....
- reticle is ok (I am used to using them for real - familiarity helps) BUT it is a) not technically mildot by design and b) the reticle gradations are not calibrated or meaningful. The horizontal ones have different spacing from the vertical. This could easily be fixed.
- it's generally my go to scope, and the best of what's on offer.

High magnification, perfect with 7mm Bullpup, great for spotting and solid for long shots. Rated excellent.

I've never noticed a problem with the other bars; I just ignore them. I presume they're more useful for guns which have more fall-off than the Bullpup.

It's a 12x scope, so I'm not going to praise it for the fact that it magnifies 12x, because then I might well praise any 12x scope for that. I don't praise it for spotting either, because every other 12x scope would have been great for spotting. What I don't like about it is the reticle (but it is helpful for the Plinkington), that it lacks zoom and that it can't be used with the popular .300.

I rate it average for those reasons.

Must-have! Always bring this one to complement another mid field scope.
