I hate the german translations
Always the same. I wonder why my moose does not count for the christmas moose mission.
English description: Harvest a Moose with a weight of 450kg (Approx. 992 lbs) or higher using any .45-70 Rifle
German description: Erlegen Sie einen Elch mit einem Gewicht von 450kg (ca. 992 lbs) oder höher.
Please work more careful at translations.
Thank you

Mission 11. Dezember:
Englisch: Harvest an unspooked Bobcat using any .223 Rifle while using a blind, tower, stand or shooting tripod rest.
Deutsch: Erlegen Sie einen nicht nervösen Rotluchs mit einem Gewehr Kaliber .223 ohne Nutzung einer Ansitz- oder Zielhilfe.

Then you could apply to do it yourself!
Or you can do like me and run it in english, problem solved (for the most of it).

Re: I hate the german translations
These are mistakes made by someone who makes hundreds of translations which they do on free terms. Just report the mistake. To say all translations are bad is a bit exaggerated.

Re: I hate the german translations
As Hoo said: you have to keep in mind that the German translations (like all translations as far as I know) are made by a volunteer team. If they didn't invest their free time, we all had to play in English, even those that don't understand it very well. So let's be a little forgiving here, mistakes do happen - even though I understand that it can be annoying to find out after trying to fulfill the mission objectives without success.
I see that you informed the German community about those wrong translations in the German forum, good job doing that!

Re: I hate the german translations
credit to the translation-team where its due. shouldnt happen thou; there are still hundreds (id guess) of players that use german as language; and why has someone working 40h and more who just wants some time with his game to rely on a half-a***d translation? mistakes like this happen; thats ok, and using english as game-language is the wise choice; but maybe ew should spend some time rethink the system. like that major settings are done by ew-staff and need no further translation or are automatically translated.
for example:
comp-name: feline navidad
weapon: .223
treestand, etc: yes (automated translation with this should work)
shooting distance: <20m
etc
that would bring also some conistancy to the actual system.
