We Woke Up The Mama Weapon

Hi,

This is probably a stupid question, but maybe someone tried it :
I'm on the brown bear mission 'We Woke Up The Mama'. It's the final one. The task is clear and simple :
'Harvest the Brown Bear Goldilocks using a .308 "Rival" Handgun. '
Now here's my question : Since there are two versions of the .308 Handgun available that also share the same weapon skill, will a 'Highwayman' (the premium version of 'Rival')
work, too? Might be dumb to ask because it clearly says 'Rival' but trying anyway because there's hope that both weapons might work.
Want to have the premium version only, don't want to buy the other one just for a mission.

Just checked with .308 Wolfsbane - no success. Nothing strange indeed, Wolfsbane was released later.
