Carry Capacity Bugged Again?

Carry Capacity Bugged Again?

When trying to reload my weapon, I'm unable to because the game indicates that to do so would exceed the carry capacity.

Scenario:
Current capacity = 19.35
box of ammo to be added from dog pack = .65
That SHOULD add up to 20.00, and not EXCEED the 20.00 limit of the game. Apparently it does as evidenced by the video below:



I was able to reload my weapon, by moving the moose caller to my dog's backpack, then moving the ammo to my active carry capacity (in the ammo slot of my weapon in video above). When I moved the moose caller back to my active carry capacity I fully expected to get the "Exceeds the maximum carrying capacity" notification. Amazingly, I didn't ... and the game moved along its merry way. :shock:

This indeed seems odd, first the "cap message". After doing the same thing as you did I could equip and unequip the ammo as much as I wanted too. I'll look further into this. Thank you HunterBooth!

Hi,

this is a thing I wanted to report, too. It seems that some items are a bit heavier than intended. This is sometimes shows up in the item information, like in this example with .223 ammo:

As you can see this 0.0000000000003g aren't shown in the total capacity, but seem to count anyway. The odd thing is, sometimes I can add items so I would reach a total of 20.00000000000000003kg, sometimes it refuses. But when I have like 0.35kg of carrying capacity left, I can always add a pack of .223 ammo. Hope this information is somehow helpfull.
