Never. It wouldn't make sense to have them.

no you don't need a bison call. shoot one and go over with your huntermate to claim it but don't. Then go use the bathroom and get a sandwich. When you come back there will be all kinds of bison there. your screen will be red and they will be there kicking the crap out of you. Took me 10 first aid kits before I could get up and get a shot off. As they ran away one knocked me in the water and I froze to death. Bad day at whiterime ridge.

Agree, no need for a call and definitely not for a feeder.

Re: Bison call / lure
In Canada in the pink mountains, they hunt bison over natural mineral licks. That would be the only semi-realistic way to attract bison. I don't really think that it's needed though, they are already pretty easy to hunt.

ah, pink Mountain, won o won and the Blueberry area, some very beautiful country there. But no wheres near as nice as Crooked Lake. Crooked Lake is so remote that you wont see another human for months unless they know about it and are there for the Pike fishing or they are hunting Alaskan/BC Bull moose. I spent 2 months there (Crooked Lake) back in 1997 on a hunt for Moose.

You can already just run up to them. Not hard to find bison, really.
