Animals for New Reserve (Australian Tropical Forest)

Post by Stealthhunter »

As the news of a new reserve - inspired by the Australian Tropical Rainforests, is amounst us and is creating thoughts of what species/fauna will be in this new map. I have a few suggestions of species, which i think would be suitable for the new reserve. Would gladly appreciate other animal suggestions and feedback in the comments below.

Cassowary: They maybe endangered (but the same goes for polar bear, they are illegal to hunt and are still in the game)

Eastern Grey kangaroo: I see these all the time on my way to school, which is through thick vegetation.

Bush Turkey: Another type of turkey that would be cool to hunt. We have 4 bear types, 3 types of ptarmigan etc. so why not 2 types of turkey.

Axis/Fallow/Chital/Sambar deer: Deer are always interesting to hunt and i would think most people would agree on a new species of deer, especially for an Australian map ;) .

Dingo: Similar to wolf and another greta addition to an Australian reserve

If I could see the pictures would be nice. I only see butterflies and insects. Should we hunt those?

rather than dingo i would rather see feral dogs and or cats and as you know feral cats can get quite large around home and would come in a variety of colour variants also water buffalo would be on par with the bison for weapon size. did someone mention drop bears

Polar bears aren't illegal to hunt.

Good list. I could do without more kangaroo though.

Polar Bear is legal to hunt in some places in canada. Tags are given to native people and hunter buy the tags off them.

(not 100% sure but I'm pretty sure that's how it goes)

Edit: Damn it instinctivearcher you beat me to it

Just look at the evil waiting to be unleashed.

I really like your list of deer. Would love to see fallow added the most in this game.

The tropical rainforest idea sounds really cool, however, I think they would have to to make the BRR continent a bit bigger to fit in a reserve. Still, definitely a +1 from me!
