Watching the Sportsman channel, "Hornadys Dark & Dangerous" & they are using a Heym double barrel rifle. I think he said 88B.

Re: Beautiful weapons....
Heym is an extremely nice weapons factory. They are based in Gleichamberg, Thuringia in former East Germany.
I visited their factory in June. They make every component of their rifles except for the screws themselves. Actually a pretty small factory, but no robots or anything there. Every machine has a man behind it.
They even let me shoot their straight pull SR-30 Long Range rifle in .300 Winchester Magnum. It shoots 2mm 3 shot groups at 100 meters.
Anyways. They make some very nice repeater rifles as well. Not only the SR-30. The SR-21 is their Mauser style bolt action rifle. With a new and improved 3 lug action and 60° bolt lift.

Re: Beautiful weapons....
That is simple, if they use best materials available on market, combined with great deal of handy-craft of skilled labour. Then rifles as such are more or less indestructible and they will last forever, so it's justifies premium prices. Jack

These rifles are actually quite inexpensive due to Heym putting basically no money into big marketing campaigns.
Take a look at the Holland and Holland or Westley&Richards double rifles. Even the Rigby Rising Bite. They are almost all 100k+ with the boxlocks also being quite expensive.
Double rifles also require a great amount of custom fitting, especially the barrels which have to shoot together in order for the rifle to be effective.
This process can take weeks with sometimes 100 rounds shot through the barrels before they are soldered correctly.
