Suppressor and subsonic ammo

Post by Nismo32 »

I don't know if its been suggested yet but I would like to suggest a suppressor and subsonic ammo for .22 plinkington and the .223.

It would be really cool and usefull.

Thoughts?

(Sorry if this topic has been created before but Im new here.)

Yeah, it's been brought up before, at least once a month from what I've seen, search for the word "suppressor" you'll get about 460ish hits. Consensus for suppressors in this game seems to fall somewhere between "no way we don't need/want it" and "those are illegal where I happen to live so they can't be in the game" (I would buy one if they made one though)

Yes! This game no doubt needs suppressors. Sub sonic ammo for hunting isnt really something youd use tho. But for us european hunters, using a suppressor (on any cal. rifle) is completely normal. In my opinion it would be a nice addition to a great hunting game. Also, i know hunting suppressed is becoming legal in more and more states in America :)

Have said it a hundred times, there is absolutely, positively no need for a suppressor in this game at this point. Really, what would the benefits be? What would be the purpose? It's not like you're culling herds, and you are not near civilization. No, the only real reason people want a suppressor is so they can shoot multiple animals from a distance without spooking anything else in the area or the rest of the herd. Basically, shoot at will with no consequence. With the current draw distance cap, there is just no need.

don't 'rose color' it, chuck....tell us how you really feel......  i remember when the .300 was released, it was easy to get 6 out of a herd of 6 of elk cows from a tower on WH. and didn't use a suppressor (silencer)....oh, the good old days.. :D
