I would always choose a slower bullet with larger diameter for pigs. This way I would get a good penetration with a little waste of meat and .300 is not the first cartridge on that list, right after the 9.3x62mm I would choose 8x57 JS, but hey that is only my opinion. Yes, 8x57 JS is a great cartridge.

i do agree with you , but when i made the post i was more thinking of long/very long range performance

Nobody knows those details AFAIK. Why do you wish to know them?

i would like to know if the chances to miss a vital organ on a moving target is increased at such ranges

Full support from here too! Personally I would love that in 9.3x74R since I like hunting Moose and bears a lot in this game.

EW, please fix the reloading animation for the Colt SAA .45 LC revolvers!!!
