Re: Trophy Shot Competition
There go my entries:
Firstly I'd like to post my version of Marc's photo; thanks a lot for him and the others that made this picture possible! The only reason I'm posting it is because they asked me to. As Mark said, 4 bears over 20 on the pic, one over 23 (which I was happy enough to shoot and kill on the spot). Dumb me totally forgot about the filters:
Secondly, I really like the composition on this one, even though the score isn't that great (355):
And lastly this monster I shot, probably my personal best Mule: 231. Pitty I had to shoot him at the water, so that limited my options a lot (and maybe I should have chosen another filter):

Re: Trophy Shot Competition
Hey team Pie of Bears, where did you find that picture...? A big collection of black bears in the background there, do you know what happend...? I'm the gamekeeper trying to look after the animals and their walking areas in Red Feather Falls... ...And there are some bandits killing black bears long above the hunting limits...! The result of this is decreasing bears around feeders, and they do not grow big before harwest season... Please keep your eyes open and report to me if you see any bandits...Tanngnjostr wrote:"Pile of bears" - featuring Villkatta, BuiuRei, IzDaPat and Tanngnjostr (can be found in my gallery)

That's got to be the most creative use of a carcass I've seen - nice photo!

Both pictures show the results of a long Hirschfelden Goose hunt from different angles. I fired 70 shots and only missed once, but thanks to a few doubles I harvested 71 birds in the end. There are five 8000+ geese in that pile, the biggest one scored 8706.511. It was just one of those spawns…
