Moose animation spaghettified after shot (while alive)

Post by AWiseMansDestiny »

Hello,

First off, I just returned to the forums after a long while, so I don't know about the rules.
Secondly, Not sure if this has been reported yet.

What did I do you may ask, well I wanted to shoot him but it was a bad placed shot, so I don't really know why it happened.
Spoiler:

I saw this too. It happened after I put a shotgun slug in it.

Since it happens to me like...every time since Halloween update :| i noticed few things.

- The messed up model appears only on wounded animals during the `being hurt` animation where usual short walking between resting is broken. (moose is back to normal during the rest, then goes on 2 legs again)

- If its wounded but have enough time to get into that broken animation there is a great chance that it will not die when it should
e.g. last moose i shot with .45-70 (hip bone, intestines) got his health under 24% during the first few tracks - i found him alive after 1h 57min and took a second shot to finally kill him.

- after displaying broken animation all animals showed wrong scores and weight on harvest.
e.g Moose estimated score of 170-200 and estimated weight 580-620 turns out to be 158 points and 485kg.

- Happens in MP also, and all players (or at least the ones that played with me) can see the same thing.

Since the last update and some 100+ harvests i can say that moose is fine again.
Thanks for fixing it. ;)

I dunno... I found this one walking around like this in singleplayer. I hadn't fired a single shot yet, so seemms that it can happen without the animals being wounded.
