*SP flying ducks make no sound.

Post by Elmer48 »

In my last 5 SP duck hunts I have noticed that most of the flying ducks arent quacking. The non quacking ducks also dont break, ever. Has anyone else had this? The flying ducks that quack will break away most of the time. I guess it is kind of a bug that makes it easy to know which ones to call LOL.

I almost exclusively play SP and have experienced this too over the last month or so and have noticed the same thing. The silent flocks don't normally break. I have had 2 or 3 out of 5 flocks be silent. I haven't hunted ducks since the latest patch, it was happening before then.

Sneaky little buggers. You're looking one way and they silently fly over from another direction.

From my little duck hunting experience
I had come to the conclusion that silent flocks were those that were spooked and or agitated.

I've also seen a few of these SILENT Flocks fly over me in past couple days in SP and wondered WHY this was happening?

Same thing here with the silent flocks showing up. Seems like since the last patch (2-19-14) is when I first started noticing it, several others I've talked to are also reporting the same.
It makes you pay more attention to the horizon, and just like IRL, they are liable to show up and slip in unnoticed until they are circling. Gotta love it... 8-)
