Thanks, David. I was hunting geese at 5:00 a.m. At 5:45 I got a call and put the spotting scope on him in the dark over by some trees. All I could see was the white outline. He spotted 255-285. I didn't have anything to shoot him with, so I went to my tent to get a weapon. I marked where I spotted him, and he was already 30 min ahead of me when I got there. I spooked him twice and went on a tour of Hirschfelden. I got to within 12 minutes of him, called...never saw him until he came walking out from behind some hay and only 10m away...45 degrees from where his last track said he was going.

Well at least you got him! And 96.6 is a great score, even without the bonus.

My second ever 270+ in almost 4 years. There are 4 or 5 others posted in this comp. I have a long way to go..I got a 277.55 in season 17, just about three years ago. Still have ten all-time bests from that season.
