"Base score" (that confused you, Serge) means the normalized score used to calculate final score, if a bonus condition is met: Leaderboard score = Base score (normalized) (+ 0.05 * Base score (normalized))

Sometimes there are delays with the server linking animals to expeditions. Unfortunately there's nothing we can do about this within the UHC software. I've received numerous private messages about the same thing during this competition. The only advice I can offer is to keep trying to submit the harvest. It will work eventually. Apologies for the inconvenience.

Check the ending date/time on the hunt summary page. If the ending date is 1969/1970, it hasn't updated & you'll have to wait until it does.
I believe distributed servers do a forced update every hour.
