I didn't choose my animals very wisely..so I think I'm going to retire from this one.

I have spent two whole days trying to get a decent Bison with a brain shot with a crossbow. I've done it, but always on females (practicing). None of the males will charge me the same, allowing for a shot between the eyes. Came close a few times but my hits are skull, shoulder blade, stomach, liver. They stop for a second when they are hit, then turn around and walk about 30 meters and fall over dead.

Now comes JR explaining the problems of geese (one of my picks), and previously, problems of goats (one of my picks), and how easy a Black Bear would score 90+ (not one of my picks), etc. And then Tann says Reindeer is a bad choice too (one of my picks). I've only posted an 80+ pheasant, opting not to try for the bonus. Then the very next hunt, I get a 27+ with the pistol.

Like David said at the beginning, choose wisely. I didn't. Good luck to everyone. This was an awesome idea for a comp, David. Thanks. :D

Hi Stan
I have also chosen the mention animals that cause problems. But I absolutely did not think you should give up now. Forget about bonus, choose your favorite weapon and then search the luck to find the high scoring animals. If you find one - and think of a bonus - you only get fever and shoot badly. That's my tactic. Please stay - you not alone !!

Sorry to hear you've decided to bug out Stan.

Haha, I know. Pathetic right? Still, it beat your lousy 7552 goose, even with the bonus! ;)

My aim is just to beat Radamus, whether I get the bonus or not. If I was in it to come first, things might be a bit different and I'd be more inclined to persist and try to get the bonus on each animal.

Embrace the olympic idea, Stan, as KingKong1 said. Set yourself a personal goal, one that still allows you to have fun. I want all of my scores underlined, that's my goal and I know it'll be hard enough to reach this without even looking what the others are doing on the leaderboard (of course I'm looking all the time! :P ). I thought I might beat Len, but it seems I've talked a bit too big here. Anyway, I want all bonuses and a final score of 850+ would be nice - and if some trophy for my lodge can be found along the way, I'm more than happy too!

At least my goose had the decency to be shot from less than 10 meters. :P

Ah, you're just upset because your abacus broke and you don't have enough fingers and toes to count properly and pick decent animals :)

Here, I'm going to send you one of these:

This is a cake walk- I still have to go to work and keep the "Queen" happy and in between naps still kick his ass ;)
Everything spooks on David from those dorky white framed interior decorator designer lenses he wears with his G.I. Joe costume he hasn't taken off since 4 Halloween's ago :D
