Brown & Black Bear Comp's

My hubby and I have been doing brown bear Comp's and getting no where
Is it just us or are there less bear's when you bait them?!! now with the new system of baiting?
We have two site the same, we get one or two bear's or nothing at all -- we do hunt at varied time's 7am thought to 1pm or 10am to 4pm

We are having the same thing with the Laura Francis, Black & Brown Bear's Comp......

What I'm asking is, can you over hunt and not get the right size you wont for the Comp

You often won't find as many bears at your barrel as it used to be a few years ago, but with a little luck (and patience, waiting for a few minutes helps sometimes) I can find 5-6 bears at a bait site. At other times it's only 1-2 though. I think the size is pure luck. You can not "overhunt" one barrel - there's a 30 minute penalty when you shoot an animal at a bait site, but then it will attract bears again.
