Re: UHC Apps | Competition Generator
Another brief update.
When a participant withdraws from a competition, the host will now get an internal UHC message. This is simply to provide hosts with feedback. If anybody withdrew from a competition between the withdraw functionality being released and the time of this post, a message will not have been generated. Moving forward, messages will be generated.

David, can I send messages to other members on the UHC site? I've just had to reject an invitation to compete in "Twins" and I'd like to explain why (because I've already found a partner), but I couldn't find an option to send a PM.

No, at the moment the UHC messaging system is one-way. When I get time, I will roll this out as a fully fledged messaging system. I didn't create the functionality for the team competitions, so you might need to speak to Tod about functionality for adding a rejection comment.Tanngnjostr wrote:David, can I send messages to other members on the UHC site? Re: UHC Apps | Competition Generator
Marc, good idea. The system already sends the inviter a message when the invitation is accepted or declined. I will take a look at adding a "reason" for rejecting an invitation.
For now, just send them a PM on the forum. (or a candy-gram)

It's "Tod", with one bloody 'd'!

Re: UHC Apps | Competition Generator
The message "Want to host your own competition?" under the calendar still points to Tod's forum profile. Wouldn't it be good to refer to the "Host" option within the UHC?

I fixed that on the competitions page, and forgot that it also appeared on the calendar page. Thanks for the heads up. Will get that fixed today.
