I've tried to replicate this, but are unable to do it. I used the callers, different shotguns and made sure I had the buckshot.

Does this happen all the time or just sometimes? Have you tried and made sure your game files are up to date? Did you try to uninstall and re-install? Did you play from Steam or from the website?
Any more information you have would be greatly appriciated. When the game crashes, do you get log files? If so I'd love to have them. Go to the dropdown menu, Settings and go into the tab that's called Logfiles.

I'll continue to look for this.

I do not use STEAM.
Crash occurs since April, in different patches, the game has been reinstalled since that time many times.
