That reports to Steam .I tru running the web launchrt but I make what caledonianblues said. Nothing to do. The problem persists, Din;t say I have to download the entire game again with my connection I have for more than 6 hours. I prefer quitting "the hunter"

I have had the same issue today hopping that a steam restart is all that is needed... Since I'm not the most tech savvy person and don't really want to be going through and deleting things.

Try closing the launcher and closing Steam, then locating the following directory and deleting everything in it:

Code: Select all

C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\theHunterSteam

Replace "Username" with your Windows account username.

Once that's done launch Steam again then try to re-open the launcher and start a hunt.

Tried this with no luck in steam launcher. I managed to get the stand alone launcher to work though. I'm not sure what is up but this is the first time i have had this specific issue.

I have problem to connect to the server.
The launcher starts normally the splash screen appears then it try to connect but only a white screen comes, The screen becomes black again then it try to connect again but nothing!
I think the launcher can't connect to the server.
have someone else the same problem?

You merget my post but...
1. You won't let any trace in the initial section " here is general chat" of my post with the mention "merged" How can I find were is my post? Or if my post was submitted?
2. You merged my post in a Steam section. I am a web player not a steam one.
3. It would be easiest to say "clear your cache"
Finally is not clearing the cache that resolve the problem.For me hopefully I have a copy of the last updated hunter folder in safe place. I copied that folder and replace the one in the windows directory (x86) and the problem is solved.

Is not working.
On my computer, at the path indicated, do not have any files or folders named thehuntersteam.
I did search in windows, and I also did not find this name.
I tried to download directly through TheHunter's website, but by the way, it also did not work.
Yesterday I played normally.
I did not update any PC software, nor did I download anything new.
