TgT: stuck at the loading screen for 20 minutes with pretty music and a nice picture.
Proceed to close the window.
WRR: Game begins to load as normal with load screen and music for about half of typical load duration. It then crashes to Launcher and tells me tgere was an Error. No error code. This happens after a shortened reserve load time. Also DirectX diagnostic tool pops up and runs immediately. Nothing wrong there. DirectX12 btw.
WHI: Game loads normally. This was also the last reserve that I had work properly previous to my issue.
I'll edit this post as I test more reserves. Currently I'm attempting TgT again. Its been about 10 minute now.
Update.
LP: Loaded fine.
SC: Loaded fine.
RFF: Lengthly amount of crickets and birds but eventually loaded fine.
Hirsch: Loaded fine. For kicks I tried entering and exiting my lodge. The lodge took about 1 minute to load. Exited lodge immediately as normal.
Hemm: Acceptable load time but still longer than the others. More assets/objects maybe?... could actually be the problem with TgT come to think of it. Too many trees, stumps, sticks, rocks and leaves to load and/or render. I'll try that one again on minimum settings later.
RB: Loaded fine.
VDB: Loaded fine.
BRR: Loaded fine.
TgT (min settings across the board): No difference. Still a long load time with nothing but music. No birds No crickets. Just music. For forever. Not even a crash or an error.
TgT (MP as guest): Could not connect to host.
Not too sure what's goin' on.
I've never had a single problem in the last 4 months. Last time I had it working was yesterday during the afternoon. I also run the client through steam.
I've dumped both launcher and game caches.
I've checked all drivers on my machine. Done a few cold boots and once I'm done testing other reserves to see if they're working, I'll likely have to reinstall unless someone out there knows what kind of game gremlin I'm facing.
Thanks to anyone who can get me into TgT tonight so I can start my RM Elk missions while the misses is out!
