caller question
what is for you , approximately the percentage for a mallards flock to break using only the long range caller . i'm using this item alone and my success is very limited right now

Re: caller question
No blind? No decoys? What camo?
when I've tried this with the B&C camo, laying prone, it seems like 10-20%
In blind with full decoys, it still seems like maybe only a bit over 50%
I didn't count, or record data, so those are just a guess.
Maybe someone has some more accurate data

Re: caller question
Only really very few ducks and geese will break without decoys.

Re: caller question
You need to use the short range caller after they break to get them to land close.

Re: caller question
Try moving your setup to the area where they land & see if it makes a difference.
It does seem like there are areas where they won't land. Might be they need a big enough area of water, and that end of the lake is too narrow??
