Re: Does anyone remember the .45 Long Colt Revolver?

I agree. It was executed horribly. The animation is completely inaccurate, the capacity, too and, as you said, the permitted species are ridiculous.
I would like to use it, but every time I equip it, I get reminded of why I don't.

Re: 2017/2018

The Geco Plus is doing pretty well IMO. The boars both had a shot behind the shoulder blade with no bones hit. That's why they didn't drop right on the spot. The next one'll get the shot right on the shoulder. As for accuracy I cannot complain. Heym barrels seem to do very good with Geco ammunition....

Re: 2017/2018

That looks like a nice coyote! I just remembered that I still have to type up my story from saturday. (It's very detailed :P) Initially, I had the idea to get up around 7:30 AM and do a little walk around the property, since my dad had recently seen boar in the forest during broad daylight. It being...

Re: ideas for guest hunting (cycling free reserve instead of free species)

I'm going to sum up pretty much all the replies you are going to get: It's not supposed to be convenient, if you want convenience you have to buy a membership. The game cannot be developed if everybody could hunt a complete reserve conveniently for every week. Use the search function, this has been ...

Good looking raccoons you got there! I bet those would make for some nice hats ;)
As for the coat- yes. It is pretty warm. If I had worn it pulling that boar up the hill, I would have worked up quite a sweat.

Re: 2017/2018

Here is my most recent prey: A wild boar weighing in at approx. 110lbs and a red fox. The boar I shot on sunday, utilizing the freshly falling snow. I shot it behind the shoulder blade, hitting the lungs and liver. The 8mm Geco Plus bullet from my Heym dropped it within 50m and I had one heck of a t...

Re: Where do you hunt? Photos, Stories, other stuff!

Just made a new video and thought I'd revive this old thread.
Also I'm too lazy to start a new one.

Re: 9.3x62

A lot of the times you aim for the heart and get a body hit, it's because you thought the heart was in the wrong place. The 9,3x62 might be a big lunker, but the .340 Weatherby (and .300 Win Mag) just put out far more velocity and thus penetration. The 9,3 is ideal for close shots out to 130m aiming...
